The loosehead prop started out in tag rugby with Llangwm before he joined Narberth and stayed with the Otters through to U16 level, playing alongside Scarlets and Wales winger, Ryan Conbeer.
When first selected in the Scarlets academy, he was dual-signed with Premiership clubs Llandovery and Carmarthen Quins.
He made his Wales U20 debut against Ireland in the 2018 Six Nations championship and went on to earn three caps – a figure he matched in the 2019 campaign.
