Llanelli lock Aaron Shingler bagged a brace of tries for the winners who looked down and out when Andrew Coombs crashed over for the Black and Ambers in the closing minutes.Â
Aberavon were home and dry early in the second half when they led Bridgend 40-3 at the Talbot Athletic Ground. The Wizards went on to amass eight tries as the Ravens were put to the sword, 52-15.Â
Champions Neath had lost three of their last four league games but they did just enough to beat bottom-of-the-table Llandovery 28-8 at Church Bank. The Drovers never gave up and it was a late try from wing Gareth James and two penalties that gave the score line a flattering look for the winners.Â
A Leon Andrews penalty 12 minutes from time gave Cross Keys a 13-10 victory over Bedwas at the Bridge Field. Keys had opened up a ten-point gap when Gareth Maule crossed to add to a Ryan James touchdown. Bedwas stormed back with a Steve Gardner try converted by Stuart Thomas who also added a penalty to level the score until Andrews’ late winning kick.

Cardiff led Glamorgan Wanderers 11-6 at the break in a match at the Arms Park that saw the return of 44-times capped Rhys Williams. Wanderers outscored the home side 2-1 on tries but the trusty boot of Lee Jarvis edged Cardiff to victory.Â
Ebbw Vale led 20-10 at St Helen’s against Swansea early in the second period but an injury-time conversion by James Dixon helped the All Whites to a 20-20 draw.Â
Pontypridd beat Pontypool 30-12 in the final Premier match with Gavin Dacey crossing for a brace for the winners. Dai Flanagan converted all three Ponty tries and kicked three penalties for a 15 point haul.
