At under 18 level, the Blues make the short journey to Blackwood to face the Dragons who are the only side yet to have played.

That game promises to be the pick of the week with the hosts hoping to down last season’s champions who kicked off their season with a resounding 69-24 victory over RGC 1404 10 days ago.

Cory Allen, who bagged a try hat-trick in that game, sits out of tonight’s encounter, but Lewis Young, who scored twice in his side’s 11-try victory, plays.

For Blues North, the opening day was equally successful with six different players helping themselves to tries in a 42-14 victory.

Jack James leads the North into battle tomorrow with only Jamie Allen of last week’s try scorers missing.

It promises to be a decent contest against a Dragons side fresh from their 20-16 victory over Blues South last week. Mitch Starr leads the side from full back having scored one of his side’s three tries last week.

At Taffs Well, the Scarlets and Blues South will be looking to break their duck – the Scarlets having suffered a 28-15 defeat, on day one, at home to the Ospreys. Matthew Davies and Lee Taylor, both of whom crossed for tries last week, play in a side that shows six changes.
