Wanderers Head Coach Richard Hodges said, “After Saturday’s disappointing SWALEC Cup exit to Carmarthen Quins, this game gives us the opportunity to put things right quickly.

“Unfortunately, Aberavon are in the same position after being knocked out of the Cup themselves, so this game should make for an interesting contest.”

The Wanderers make six changes to the side that lost to The Quins, three of which are positional. Owen Marshall regains the number 15 jersey from Wales U20s full back Dan Fish, Steve Cullen returns to the wing replacing the injured Rory Budina while Simon Rosser comes into the centre.

In the pack Gareth Knight is back in the second row, Carl Kimber comes in at number and Captain Lee Highgate starts at blindside flanker.
