Ospreys Coach Lyn Jones agreed to travel to Iffley Road (kick-off 7.30pm) to give many of his star-studded squad, including new signing Hale T-Pole from Tonga, vital game time.

Flanker T-Pole is one of five players who came off the replacements bench at Sixways on Saturday as competition for places hots up before the start of the Heineken Cup.

Jones said: “Oxford University approached us at the end of last week as Moseley had rearranged a planned fixture.

“Our squad is large enough to be able to accommodate this last minute request and certain players need game time. It therefore suits us to fit in the match looking ahead to our forthcoming schedule of EDF Energy Cup, Magners League and Heineken Cup fixtures.”

Ospreys:
Gareth Owen; Jonathan Vaughton, Mark Taylor, Andrew Bishop, Aled Brew; Shaun Connor, Darren Pittard; Paul James (Capt), Richard Hibbard, Adam Jones; Michael Collins, Lyndon Bateman; Hale T-Pole, Tom Smith, Steve Tandy
