Neath Athletic Ladies v Whitland Ladies Rugby

Neath Athletic proved that even in such conditions they are able to run the ball from all areas. Some superb ball was won by Neath’s 2nd row, but due to the weather, conditions for ball handling were less than perfect.

Whilst Whitland had the advantage of rolling subs, Neath had only a bare side due to age restrictions. In fact, at one point in the game Neath were a woman short, as a player received treatment on the sidelines. Yet the fitness level of the Neath girls shone through.

This was the second victorious game for Neath Athletic Ladies team, beating Whitland 22-0. Their first game was against Birchgrove at the beginning of November, at the home ground of Court Herbert where they won 43-0.
