MIXED FORTUNES FOR CELTIC SIDES

The Ospreys are five points clear at the top. After another round of Celtic League action the Ospreys are now five points clear of Munster at the top of the table, although the Irish side have a game in hand.

Saturday’s action saw the Dragons complete a league double over Glasgow, beating them 21-16 at Rodney Parade.
Meanwhile Cardiff had a successful trip to Connacht, beating the Irish men 18-8 at the Sportsground.

Leinster paid the price for fielding a below-strength team at the Borders and went down 29-16.

Gavin Henson was the star once again for the Ospreys on Friday night, racking up all of his side’s points to seal a 22-21 win.

In Friday’s other game Edinburgh continued their return to form beating the Scarlets 23-0.
