Nant Conwy wing Nel Metcalfe came through the U18 fifteen-a-side programme to be selected for the Wales Women’s Sevens side which competed in the Lisbon leg of the Rugby Europe Championship in 2022. Also in that side were fellow Wales colleagues Meg Davies and Abbie Fleming.
She has also represented Wales at Under 20s level.
