Callender started playing rugby for Llanelli Wanderers and joined University of Worcester Warriors in 2020.
Callender was also a skillful netball player – she competed at county level and was selected for the Wales U21s team.
Callender played in every game of the 2022 Six Nations and was named Player of the Match during Wales’ final match against Italy.
