Began his playing days as a youngster with Doha Rugby Club in Qatar before pitching up in Colwyn Bay at Under 7s. He played all the way through before moving to Kirkham School.
He had joined Sale Sharks Developing Player Programme (DPP) at U13s, moving through the various age groups before signing a senior academy contract last year.
He had always played in the back row until U18s before moving to the front row and has also represented Wales at Under 19 level.
He is currently studying sports science at Swansea University and has also played in the BUCS for the uni.
