The Dragons prop began life as a flanker with Abercynon as an eight-year-old. He then switched to Mountain Ash at 14 and played there until joining Senghenydd Youth.
He was captain of Wales Rugby League U16s which played England at Taffs Well.
He has represented Wales at U18 level and played in the Principality Premiership for the last two seasons with Bedwas.
