Tighthead prop Evans has come through the Cardiff Blues age grade system.
He studied Building Services at CAVC and works in his family business when rugby commitments allow.
He was a member of the 1st XV Cardiff & Vale College/Cowbridge Comprehensive squad that competed in the WRU College League.
He switched to Dragons RFC just prior to the conclusion of the Under 20 Six Nations Summer Series in 2022.
