Cameron is a former Coleg y Cymoedd pupil, having started out at Treorchy RFC before playing for Rhondda Schools, Cardiff Blues U16 North and Cardiff Blues U18.
He made a try-scoring debut as an 18-year-old for Cardiff Rugby in the dramatic Heineken Champions Cup clash against Harlequins when the entire first team squad were forced into quarantine.
Prior to the 2023 U20 World Rugby Championship, he was the most capped player in the squad at U20 level with 14 appearances next to his name.
