Ben Roach made his debut for Wales in Hong Kong in 2015, and has been a key figure in the squad every season since then. Along with Luke Treharne, he is the most experienced player in the team, and his abilities have even transferred to XVs on the occasions when he has turned out for Dragons in regional rugby.
He attended Llanishen High in Cardiff, and started his rugby with Llanishen RFC.
In the 2019/20 season, Roach has shared captaincy duties with Treharne.
