The son of former Swansea scrum-half Alan, Rhodri plays in the same role and made his international debut in the 2013 Dove Men Series against Tonga.
He went onto face Australia later that month and scored his first international try against Scotland in the 2014 RBS 6 Nations.
He represented Wales at Under 20 level between 2011-2013, having been involved with the Scarlets age grade system since he was 16.
