Hardy reaped the rewards for a string of eye-catching performances with the Scarlets with his selection for Wayne Pivac’s 2020 autumn training squad.
Battling with Welsh international Gareth Davies at the Parc y Scarlets for the starting No 9 shirt, the quicksilver scrum-half made his professional debut for the Scarlets in 2014 but with opportunities limited, joined Jersey Reds in the Greene King IPA Championship.
The Pontyberem product returned to West Wales in 2018 and enjoyed an outstanding campaign, earning the supporters’ vote as breakthrough player of the season. His continued form in the 2019-20 season, and his personal battle with Davies, has raised his game to new heights where his instincts have made him a constant threat close to the try-line.
