Sam Warburton
Sam has captained Wales more times than any other man.
His captaincy at international level began with a memorable two years as he captained Wales to the semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup in 2011 and then the Grand Slam in 2012.
Injury restricted the part he played as Wales retained the RBS 6 Nations title, but he then led the British & Irish Lions to Australia and their historic 2-1 victory against the Wallabies during the summer.
Sam has continued to lead Wales by fine example ever since through the 2014 RBS 6 Nations and Dove Men Series and throughout 2015.
Sam led Wales into a second Rugby World Cup in 2015 where they reached the quarter-finals.
Sam is also a former captain of Wales at Under 19 and Under 20 level and has skippered the senior side on 20 occasions.
