Centre Freya Bell has been ruled out of Wales’ WXV Global Series with a knee injury and will miss the second Test against Japan in Kumagaya City on Saturday.
Bell left the field in the second half of Wales’ 17-0 win against the Sakura Fifteen in Tokyo last Saturday.
The Wales centre had her knee scanned in Tokyo and isnow awaiting the results and the full extent of the injury will be assessed on her return home.
She will stay with the Wales WXV squad in Japan and return home with the squad on Sunday.
