George North will have plenty of quality players around him when he makes his Barbarians debut in the final game of his career against Wales at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham on Saturday 27 June.
Head coach Scott Robertson has added some real firepower to his squad for the double header clash between the Wales men’s and women’s teams and the invitation club.
Double World Cup winners Faf de Klerk and Vincent Koch are included in a 34-man squad that boasts 20 international players from 12 different nations.
Giant Wallaby forward Lukhan Salakaia-Loto will be joined in the second row by the equally large French enforced Romain Taofifenua, while Georgian prop Gia Kharaishvili is also included.
Wales hooker Elliot Dee who scored one the Baa-Baas five tries in their 80-31 defeat to the world champion Springboks in Port Elizabeth last weekend. He has bee joined in the squad by Bristol Bears uncapped hooker Harry Thacker.
Twenty-two capped former England No 8 Nathan Hughes, now playing at Racing 92 in Paris, is also included in the squad.
