There will be a feast of rugby in store when the ‘Road to Principality 2026’ takes centre stage at the home of Welsh rugby next month.
Last weekend saw six more club sides win through to the WRU National League divisional finals and there are two more semi-finals to come on Saturday, 28 March.
Abercrave will face Blaina in the Division 1 showdown on Sunday, 12 April to kick start four finals on that day. Abercrave beat Dowlais 13-12 thanks to a try from scrum half Cellan Davies and a conversion and two penalties from Steffan Castl.
Having won the Division 3 league title two seasons ago, and been promoted to Division one last season, Abercrave are hoping their trip to Principality Stadium won’t derail their chances of gaining a third promotion in a row.
They are currently six points clear at the top with five games to go, and with two games in hand on nearest rivals Ystalyfera. Blaina, meanwhile, turned around a first half deficit to beat Aberavon Green Stars 22-20 in the other semi-final.
Blaina were in the 2023 Division 3 final when they were pipped by Cardiff Quins 24-21 and will be hoping to go one better on their return having just celebrated their 150th anniversary.

Aberavon Quins succeeded where the Green Stars just failed as they booked their ticket to the Welsh capital on Sunday 19 April thanks to a 25-13 victory over Wattstown. Callum Beynon’s side were 17-8 ahead at the break and stayed in front to the end.
The Quins are enjoying a mighty season as they are unbeaten in 12 games in Division 2 West Central to date this season. They will meet Clwb Rygbi Cymry Caerdydd, who saw off local rivals Cardiff Quins 21-19 at Pentyrch.
The Division 2 final will follow on from the finals for Division 5, 4 and 3 on Sunday 19 April, with the finalists for the Division 3 and 5 finals yet to be decided. Their semi-finals take place this weekend.
The Division 4 final will be between Pontyclun and Llangadog after they both came through their respective semi-finals last weekend. Pontyclun were 27-17 winners over Bonymaen Athletic, while Llangadog beat Tonyrefail 20-14.
Pontyclun are vying for the Division 4 East Central title, while Llangadog are second in Division 4B West with an unbeaten run of 12 games.
