Dates confirmed for Wales home Nations Championship fixtures

There will be three consecutive Saturdays of matches at Principality Stadium this November

The dates for Wales Men’s three home fixtures in the inaugural Nations Championship have been confirmed.

There will be three consecutive Saturdays of matches at Principality Stadium this November as Wales continue their Nations Championship campaign which kicks off in July.

First up this autumn, Wales host Japan on 7 November. It will be the fourth time the two sides have met in the last 18 months, with Wales having won two of the previous three fixtures including the most recent one at Principality Stadium last year. That match was Japan’s first trip to Cardiff in nine years and Steve Tandy’s first victory as Wales head coach.

Next Wales play New Zealand on 14 November. Last time the two sides met wing Tom Rogers scored an historic hat-trick against the All Blacks, becoming the first Welshman and only the fourth male player in history to do so.

In the final group game of the competition, Australia heads to Principality Stadium for the first time in two years to play Wales on 21 November.

Tickets for all the November matches at Principality Stadium will be available via general sale soon. Register here to be the first to hear about it.

Hospitality packages will also be available, pre-register here today.

New format, every moment matters
The November window is the second part of the new Nations Championship seeing Wales’ matches across rounds four to six take place at Principality Stadium, Cardiff. Rounds one to three of pool games take place in July.

During the first window, Steve Tandy’s squad face Fiji, Argentina and South Africa on consecutive ‘away’ weekends this summer.

The competition culminates in a Finals Weekend with six matches taking place over three days at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham where all 12 teams will compete for their final placing in the Nations Championship, as well as to earn points for their group to decide whether north or south triumphs in the sport this year.
