Rugby World Cup 2027 has tonight confirmed the schedule for Wales’ Pool F fixtures.
Wales will kick of the 2027 edition of the tournament against Zimbabwe at 03.45h GMT (12.15h local time) on Saturday 2 October at the Adelaide Oval.
This is the first time Wales will play Zimbabwe in a RWC pool fixture, while the last time the two countries met in a Test match was during Wales’ summer tour in 1998.
Next up Wales travel to Melbourne where they will face Tonga at Docklands Stadium on Friday 8 October, kick off 08.15h GMT (18.15h local time).
This will be Wales’ first meeting with Tonga at a world cup since the tournament was last held in Australia in 2003.
Wales round out their Pool F fixtures against England at Stadium Australia in Sydney on Saturday 16 October with the kick off at 09.45h GMT (19.45h local time).
The last time Wales and England met at a Rugby World Cup was 2015 when England were hosts.

Tournament format
Rugby World Cup 2027 is being hosted by Australia and will run for six weeks from 1 October-13 November, 2027. It is the first tournament with the expanded format contested by 24 teams over 52 matches.
The new expanded format featuring six pools of four teams, replaces the four pools of five teams that had been in place since Australia last hosted the tournament in 2003.
The top two teams from each pool plus the four best third-placed teams will qualify for the knockout phase of the tournament.
The first-ever Men’s Rugby World Cup round of 16 will see the winners of Pool A, B, C and D play the four best thirds, winners of Pool E and F will face the runners-up from Pool D and B, with the runners-up in Pool A and C to meet the second-placed teams from Pool E and F.
