Amazon Prime announced as broadcaster for summer internationals

Six Nations Rugby has confirmed that live international Rugby Union will return to Prime Video in the UK this August.

Prime Video will broadcast in the UK all of Wales, England, Scotland, France and Italy’s matches including Wales’ home matches of the Vodafone Summer Series against England and South Africa, with dedicated Welsh language coverage of Welsh matches available.

Rugby supporters are in for a blockbuster summer across the month with all 13 fixtures being broadcast on the platform including Southern Hemisphere powerhouses Australia, and current Rugby World Cup Champions South Africa, alongside Japan, Fiji, Samoa, Romania, and Georgia.

The Six Nations teams dominate the first weekend of rugby action with Scotland kicking off the first match in Edinburgh against France, KO 3pm on Saturday 5th August, followed by Wales at home at Principality Stadium against rivals England, KO 17:30pm. Ireland take on Italy in Dublin, KO 8pm, to close out day packed full of rugby action.
