Horsman’s side have suffered a defeat (against England) and gained a victory (against Scotland) in their two previous games and go into the clash against Italy with just two changes in the front row from the side which dispatched the Scots.

Scarlets loosehead prop Sam O’Connor comes in for Theo Bevacqua while Ospreys hooker Oliver Burrows replaces Rhodri King.

“I’m looking forward to see how the boys react to playing a team like Italy who play differently to Scotland,” said Horsman.

“We gave a much improved performance against Scotland after losing to England in the opening game of the festival and the boys are looking to finish with a positive performance.”
