In the forwards, Josh McNally returns to partner Ben West in the second row, with Matt Corker named among the replacements.

Victory over the Pirates saw London Welsh make it five wins in a row, with Championship wins over Nottingham Rugby, Jersey and Rotherham Titans moving the Exiles to within just three points of fifth place.

When the sides met at Old Deer Park earlier in the season Ealing Trailfinders came out on top, 27-3. Former Exile Alex Davies kicking 17 points to add to tries from Alex Bradley and Jamie Stephenson.

The Exiles’ previous visit to Trailfinders Sports Club, in March 2014, saw the visitors come away with a 39-6 victory. The Exiles producing a strong second half performance on their way to a bonus point win.

London Welsh head coach Rowland Phillips said: “After a couple of very exciting weeks in the British and Irish Cup and the fantastic achievement of reaching the final, our focus now switches back to the Championship.

“Tomorrow’s match is a hugely important one for both teams and we know we face a big challenge, but it’s one we’re very much looking forward to.

“Ealing beat us convincingly at Old Deer Park and more recently have shown some real form, with an impressive win over Moseley and holding Doncaster Knights to a draw. They’re a side which has improved hugely of late and will be looking to continue that upturn in form against us.

“Similarly, we’ve strung a few results together over the last few weeks and that’s been very pleasing. There’s a good energy and a growing confidence and belief within the camp. We’re enjoying our rugby and we want to keep that going.”
