The ‘Stoptober’ challenge, which has been supported by the WRU, has seen thousands of smokers across Wales give giving up a go.
Nine ‘local heroes’ from across the country have been documenting their quit attempt throughout October and after reaching 28-days have been rewarded with tickets to the Dove Men Series opener, Wales v Australia on November 8 and were presented with the tickets by members of the Wales squad.

As part of the biggest campaign to date to encourage as many of the 690,000 smokers in Wales as possible to try to quit, Stop Smoking Wales have been offering advice and support to all those wanting to kick the habit this month.
