Aberavon host Neath, Bedwas take on Newport at Bridge Field, Ebbw Vale travel to Cross Keys and Llandovery take on Llanelli at Church Bank to complete the fixture list.

Four Principality Premiership clubs will represent Wales in this season’s cross border competition, with the winners of this weekend’s ties playing again next weekend to determine the final four.

The winners of the play-offs in the Dragons region will play each other, while Bridgend and Carmarthen lie in wait for the winners of Aberavon v Neath and Llandovery v Llanelli respectively, as they finished last season as the top sides within their regions. With only two Principality Premiership sides in the Blues region, champions Pontypridd take on Cardiff next Saturday (September 6) in a one off game.

Bedwas open their 2014-15 season campaign with a home British & Irish Cup qualifier against neighbours Newport. The victors will play away at either Cross Keys or Ebbw Vale on Saturday 6 September.
With three excellent pre-season victories behind them Bedwas will go into the tie with plenty of confidence as they look to build on those results.

Bedwas Chairman Mark Lewis said ‘I would like to welcome all the new faces as well as those returning from last season. We have worked hard to put together a competitive squad as well as one with more depth to it, competition for a starting place will be intense throughout the squad.’ ‘We look forward to the challenge of another season as we constantly look to improve.’
