The comfortable victory, in the only Premiership game to take place, means Neath stay top of the pile with five wins and one defeat from their six games played so far this season.

In Division One, Pencoed, Whitland and Caernarfon all followed Neath’s lead as they ran in a number of tries on their way to victory.

DFP – Leaderboard

Pencoed were 22-0 winners over Croesyceiliog in a bottom of the table clash, a result that leaves Croesy rooted to the bottom of the table without a win in this campaign. Whitland and Gwernyfed shared a high scoring encounter but it was the former who came out on top with the west Wales outfit eventually running out 32-17 winners. Caernarfon brushed aside Blaenau Gwent 36-0.

Tylerstown and Maesteg Celtic were edged out in Division Two, Penallta and Barry their conquerors respectively while Gorseinon proved too much for Sea View in a 53-0 victory.

Elsewhere, the wet weather claimed the Division Three South fixtures as its victim. Bargoed against Haverfordwest, Nantyfyllon’s clash with Pen y Banc and Lampeter’s visit to Kidwelly were all washed out.
