The elective procedure is part of his ongoing rehabilitation programme as he continues to recover from a foot injury sustained in New Zealand earlier this year.
The operation to his right heel, which was broken in his much documented accident, will see Warren enter hospital on Friday. The procedure will entail treatment to an area of damaged and blistered skin. It is expected he will spend a few days in hospital after the procedure.
The media is asked to respect Warren’s privacy at this time as he undergoes the procedure and during his recuperation after this latest treatment.
