The Cardiff Blues teen announced himself on the international stage with a sensational try against the Barbarians in June, and went on the recent tour of Australia.
That came after limited regional opportunities and Blues director of rugby Phil Davies has laid down the gauntlet to the wing and told him to emulate the consistency of Leigh Halfpenny.
“Harry’s challenge is to play regional rugby and play it regularly,” said Davies.
“Loads of young players have come in over the years and he needs to do it week in, week out.
“He hasn’t been in that position before and it is our job to help him come through and deliver consistency like Leigh Halfpenny has.
“Over the years, he has got more consistency about him and that needs to be Harry’s aim.
“There are a lot of young players who are going to be thrown into the melting pot and they have to be consistent.
“They have to turn up for work every day and put a level of training performance together.
“They have to rest and recover correctly, eat properly – all those things that we will help them with so they can produce performances week in week out for the Blues and then hopefully they will get to play international rugby.”
The Blues face Gloucester at Kingsholm on Saturday, as they continue their preparations ahead of the new season.
Davies will begin to integrate some of his Wales squad members into his side and Robinson, having not featured against Australia, could be in line to face the Cherry & Whites.
