Whitland surged into a 27-13 lead by half-time, with tries from front-row forwards Gareth Lloyd and Dafydd Phillips. But their lead was cut back and a last minute penalty from outside-half Stuart Morris secured the win.
TATA Steel kept up the pressure on Narbeth with another high-scoring win away at UWIC. Steel benefitted from two tries from interceptions and did not look back despite being down by six points at half-time.
