Last season’s Plate winners, Pontyclun have received a bye and will have to wait to see who they will play in round two.

The Blaenau Gwent, Ruthin and Tylorstown matches are unknown affairs as the teams have not met this season. Ruthin are currently playing in the RFUW North West 2 league and have won comfortably against Manchester, Leigh and Northwich ladies.

DFP – Leaderboard

As for the Seven Sisters v Neath match, Seven Sisters have something to prove. They have improved dramatically over the course of the season. They lost to Neath early on 88-0 but the return fixture saw Seven Sisters hold Neath to 47 points.

The Dolgellau v Waunarlwydd match promises to be a close encounter. The previous meeting resulted in a 13-15 win to Dolgellau.

The second round draw will take place on Tuesday 2nd February to be played Sunday 21st Feb 2010.
