Jason Pocock, after missing the Cross Keys victory, returns to the wing. It will be his first return to Pontypridd after transferring back to the Wanderers from Ponty in the summer.

In the pack Rhys Gill comes in for Nathan Trevett and Gareth Knight gets his first start of the season in the second row to partner Tom Evans.
