Scarlets to battle the champions

The Scarlets will battle against reigning Heineken Cup champions London Wasps, European Challenge Cup holders ASM Clermont Auvergne and 2006 European champions Munster when the 13th Heineken Cup tournament kicks-off with the Round 1 matches on the weekend of November 9/10/11, 2007.

The Pool draw was made at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, today (Wednesday June 20th) when it was also announced that next season’s final will be played at the Millennium Stadium on the weekend of 24 / 25 May, 2008. It will be the fifth tournament final staged in the Welsh capital.


The draw kept the top seeds from each of the six nations apart with Wasps, Stade Français Paris, Leinster, Benetton Treviso, Glasgow Warriors and the Ospreys heading up the six Pools of four teams.
