The Ospreys booked their place in the EDF Energy Cup final with an impressive 27-10 win over Welsh rivals Cardiff Blues. Marshall was the pick of the bunch for the Ospreys but the former All Black believes they have the team to lift the cup next month.

He said: “We’re all really looking forward to Twickenham. We believe we are a good enough team to be fighting for honours and now we’re into a final.

“We got a bit of a dusting the last time we played the Blues but we learned the lessons from that and we were very efficient this time. We’re still gutted about going out in Europe but now we have a real chance to win some silverware, but Leicester will be tough and we haven’t won anything yet.”

Skipper Duncan Jones added: “This was a real team performance. The forwards and backs really complimented each other, there was a lot of pride about our display.”
