Welsh Exiles earn outstanding victory over Irish Exiles

This was the first time in several years that the Welsh Exiles have beaten the Irish Exiles. The Chairman of the Welsh Exiles, Brigadier Rolph James was very impressed by the way the Exiles played stating: ‘This was the best performance I have seen from a Welsh Exiles side in many a year.”

Both Ron Shottle, Dragons Regional Performance Manager and Billy Vivian, Dragons U18 Manager attended the match. They both commented that they were very impressed with the overall standard of play.

As a result they selected two players, Jed Hooper (Flanker) and David Blackwell (Hooker), to attend regional training in the near future.
