Speaking on joining the Gwent region Aled commented, “I am really excited about joining The Dragons and being part of the professional team and the exciting squad that the region has. I feel it will progress my career and I am looking forward to the challenge of getting The Dragons back to where they belong at the top of the Celtic League and challenging in Europe. I am looking forward to linking up with my brother and the other Dragons players and cannot wait to get started with the Region.”
Winger Aled will link up with his brother Nathan who is also at the Dragons and gives the region a promising back line for next season which will also welcome back Kevin Morgan and Gareth Cooper from long term injuries.
Commenting on the signing, Regional Rugby Manager Jim McCreedy said, “Aled is a very talented and promising player who we look forward to joining the Dragons. He is relishing joining and the challenges that await in the season ahead. He is a fantastic addition to out back line options with the likes of Gareth Wyatt, Kevin Morgan, Ceri Sweeney and of course his brother Nathan. He is just starting out on his playing career but is a talent to look out for.”
