Hooker Mark Breeze scored the only try of the first half with Rhys Priestland replying with a penalty for the Scarlets, however, after the break, the home side drew clear with further tries from James Pike and Sam Kiley to secure a 15-3 victory.

In the other game, Wales Under 18 outside-half Rhys Jones kicked three penalties and was then yellow-carded as the Dragons returned to winning ways with a 9-0 victory over the Blues at Abertillery Park.


At Under 16 level, both Scarlets v Blues North and Ospreys v Blues South were called off due to inclement weather.
