The victory was somewhat tarnished by the sending off of Matthew Williams and a yellow card for Alan Phillips, but the Dragons were understandably delighted to register a first win of the season.
In the other game, the Scarlets defeated the Ospreys 3-0 thanks to a penalty from Daniel Evans.
