DIVISION ONE.
Some 20 league matches are postponed today as 11 cup ties that were rained off last week are played. In Division One, there are three matches missing, but the other five will be played.
Llanharan have to kick their heels while scheduled opponents Narberth are cup-tied and divisional leaders Maesteg are occupied at home to Carmarthen Athletic, where the Athletic’s No 8 Graham Evans is two tries off a century and opposes Karl Hocking of Maesteg, the only forward in Wales to have achieved that mark.
Brynmawr, rejoicing in their cup draw at home to Cardiff, travel to Cyncoed to meet UWIC, while Beddau take on Tredegar, Blackwood are at home against Glamorgan Wanderers and Tondu face a huge task against Whitland at Pandy Park.
DIVISION TWO.
West leaders Dunvant are cup-tied, leaving Cwmllynfell a chance of leading the division if they win at Birchgrove and Tonmawr also could jump up if they gain the points from the difficult match at Felinfoel. There will also be a rearranged match at Bridgend, where the Athletic could also jump forward if they hold off Waunarlwydd.
Abercynon know that they must win at Penygraig to hang on as leaders of the East, as Merthyr appear odds-on to defeat Dinas Powys at The Wern and are just
one point behind. There should be a good match at Rhymney, where the Brewers take on Ystrad Rhondda and unbeaten Fleur de Lys travel to Llantrisant.
