Inclusion is at the heart of our ‘One Wales’ vision. We recognise that diversity enriches our union, our game, our clubs, and our communities; and it vital to the future of the sport that individuals can see themselves represented in rugby. Rugby, our national sport is so much more than a game, it’s a powerful force for community and connection where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to participate, both on and off the field.

Our EDI Plan brings together all the threads that weave through the strategy into a single document demonstrating our commitments across five key areas: People with disabilities, Gender equality, LGBTQIA+, Lower socio-economic groups and Ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Our aim is to represent and reflect the diverse spirit of ‘One Wales’ through the unifying power of our national sport.
