And the defeat for the Ospreys means there is all to play for when they meet the Scarlets in next week’s final pool game of the season at Narberth.

The Ospreys hold a four point advantage at present and need just to win to set up a repeat of last season’s final. For the Scarlets, it’s a must win game, with a bonus point needed on top.

Two tries from last season’s Wales U19 captain Sam Warburton put the Blues on their way to an outstanding 37-12 victory in ront of 700 fans at Jenner Park. Scrum half Luke Evans, who like Warburton is sure to be in the Wales U20 Six Nations squad this season, added a third try as the Blues led 21-5 at half time.

In the second half, James Egan added a fourth try for good measure with fullback Leigh Halfpenny weighing in with four conversions and a penalty. A penalty try and a converted Luke Hathaway try was all the Ospreys could muster as they slipped to a disappointing defeat.
