It was the inaugural Magners League Awards dinner at the Millennium Stadium. WRU group chief executive Roger Lewis welcomed the event – and added some revelations – while we also speak to coach of the year Paul Turner of the Dragons and Ken Owens, who scored the Try of the Year for the Scarlets. James Hook talks about receiving the Welsh Rugby Writers player of the year award, while Kristian Phillips was the Principality Premiership player of the year. Finally Wales Women’s coach Jason Lewis talks about their frustrating World Cup campaign.
