“We are relatively pleased with our performance at Llandovery last week but slightly disappointed as it was a match we could have won had we taken our chances better,” said Ian Hopkins, Swansea Rugby Club’s team manager.
“There were a number of occasions when we failed to spot the overlap and this cost us victory in the end.
The All Whites have three injury concerns ahead of the trip to Cardiff. Paul John is out for two weeks after suffering an ankle injury at Llandovery, Jamie Thomas is out for a fortnight with a hyper extended elbow while it is touch and go whether Richard Williams will make Saturday’s game after taking a knock to his knee last Saturday.
“We are down to the bare bones in the hooker department and are looking at alternative options,” added Hopkins.
“We are also looking at testing out a few players who haven’t yet featured this season. We are quietly confident that we can go to the Arms Park and win despite Cardiff’s good start to the season.”
