This will be the first time since 2019 that Welsh supporters will have been given the opportunity to watch the senior men’s team train. With a few new faces in the training squad, it will be the ultimate occasion to watch them be put through their paces up close, before a final chance to see them in Cardiff this August in the third match of the Vodafone Summer Series against current World Champions, South Africa.
At the Rugby World Cup 2023 kit reveal earlier this week, Wales senior men’s international, Josh Adams stated just how important the upcoming matches are, going into the world cup, “We’ve worked hard, definitely (during training). I think the group we’ve got now can really succeed. The (new) boys have added something different to the squad which is always important when you bring new people in – and they definitely have.
“We approach these games as Test matches. As a squad that’s our mentality.”
“They’re important games for us. If you don’t go hard in these games, you’re not going to give yourselves the best preparation; so yes, they’re important for us as a squad.”
Free tickets to the Wales senior men’s open training will be made available to WRU clubs, Debenture holders, Premium members and Official members from 10am on Monday, 24th July with tickets opening to the general public on Tuesday 25th July from 10am via wru.wales/tickets.

Entry to Principality Stadium will be free to everyone and the training session will take place at 2:30pm just four days before Wales’ second warm-up fixture against England at Twickenham Stadium.
Richard Collier-Keywood, WRU Chairman says, “We’re delighted to open this magnificent stadium to Welsh supporters free of charge to watch Wales train.
“In the past we’ve seen a huge number of supporters attend these sessions and I know the players appreciate the support ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
“The team have been working incredibly hard, and got through some gruelling sessions but they’ve truly galvanised as a squad.
“It promises to be a great day out and I’m hoping we’ll see plenty of families and young fans in the stands, ready to cheer on our rugby heroes.”
Tickets to attend the open training session are free, however, as the open training session will be hosted in support of the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, we invite ticket holders to make a donation which can be made by clicking here.

Supporters will be able to redeem 4 tickets per person to the event, and all tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Children under 2 will not require a ticket but will need to sit on the lap of their parent or guardian.
Supporters can still get tickets for the upcoming Vodafone Summer Series with all tickets across all categories available at a 50% reduction for U17s. This means the England match on Saturday 5th August which is priced at £40, £60 and £80, can be accessed for £20, £30 and £40 by children.
For the South Africa match, on Saturday 19th August, supporters can attend for £20, £40 or £60, with U17s pricing therefore at £10, £20 and £30.
