Dragons unveil new kit

04.02.23 - Wales v Ireland - Guinness Six Nations - Prematch pyrotechnics at Principality Stadium

Newport Gwent Dragons have unveiled their new Gilbert home and away kits for the 2016-17 season, which will be available at Rodney Parade on Friday night when Cardiff Blues arrive for a pre-season friendly.

Gilbert, who have signed a new 3-year extension with the Region, worked closely alongside Dragons management on the new design of both the home and away kits. The new home kit is predominantly black incorporating our signature colours amber and red on the shoulders, back and sides.

The away kit is in the Monmouthshire blue with navy and white details on the back and sides and fleur-de-lys designs on the shoulders. The away jersey is once again, in keeping with the theme of the Kingdom of Gwent.

Both jerseys carry the Dragons’ main sponsor global communications provider BT, with their logo in a central location on the front. The Dragons will be wearing the new look jersey for the first time against Exeter Chiefs on Friday 26th August.
