The women’s arm of the Welsh Rugby Union is urging all hookers and props with ambitions of playing at the highest possible level to attend a special series of skills sessions.

All front rowers are invited to attend the skills sessions this Wednesday at the WRU National Centre of Excellence on the outdoor pitch. The session will be taken by Women’s National squad forwards coach Liza Burgess, with a 7pm start.

“This is an opportunity for players to develop their skills and progress through the National Performance Pathway if they have the required attributes,” explained a WRU spokesperson.

“We feel it is important whilst developing players for Sevens that we also concentrate on certain positions within the XV-a-side game.

Any interested players should DOWNLOAD THIS FORM and return it to sbennett@wru.co.uk by no later than 5pm on Tuesday 22 May.
