Wales under-21’s gained a fifth successive victory over their English Counterparts with a 35-9 victory at Neath on Friday 21 February.
It was the third win of the season for coach Chris Davey and his team, following those over New Zealand and Italy, while England had gained a 26-25 win over France at Newbury last week.
It was 16-6 at the interval with wing Matthew Nuthall (Pontypridd) scoring a try and fly half Nick Robinson (Cardiff) converting and placing a hat-trick of penalty goals against two penalties by England fly half Warren Spragg (Sale).
While Spragg kicked a third penalty, Wales gained a try by full back Gareth Swales (Swansea) that Robinson converted and in the final minutes Nuthall, who last season was the youngest player to appear in a Welsh Cup final, crossed again for Robinson to convert.
There was still time left for Swales to collect his second try of the match to leave the try-count at 4-0 in favour of Wales.
