Aberavon, at home to out-of-form Tredegar are going for their 22nd successive win – which will be a record for the Division, surpassing the mark of 21(including one draw) achieved a few years back by Dunvat.

Jamie Davies, the Wizards fly half, has accumulated 216 points for his club in all matches this season and 978 in his short career with the club. The 25-year-old therefore requires just 22 points to become th fourth man in Aberavon history to reach 1,000, following behind Mike Lewis, Tommy-Owen James, Allan Martin and Ross Richards.

An interesting addition to the Aberavon squad is fly half Matthew Pearce, who will be on the replacements bench if he receives a permit from Maesteg.

Rumney have won on three of their last trips to Pontypool Park and that will give them heart for what seems an almost impossible task, while second-placed Llandovery entertain Bonymaen at Church Bank, where Gareth Jones will hope to show the visitors that they should not have transferred him this season.

Treorchy, at the foot of the table, travel to Glamorgan Wanderers, where they lost 21-10 last season. They face a tough task with a small injury-riddled squad.

Narberth have to attempt to end a run of seven losses in eight games as they entertain a strong Carmarthen Quins team, who have included lock, captain and former Wales cap Paul Arnold, after he has missed three weeks with eighteen stitches in a head wound. Narberth may still be without their chief scorer, Simon Daniel, at fly half.

Beddau aere looking for a third successive home to lift them up the table when they entertain Bedwas, while Tondu, who were delighted with their 12-3 win at Bonymaen last week, meet a Whitland side who have won their last two away matches.

Cross Keys are hoping to win their first match over a fellow Gwent club when they meet Blackwood at Pandy Park, but nearby Newridge will be at home to Llanharan instead of away, as their final fixture of the season has to be reversed due to the unnavailibilty of the Welfare Ground due to a cricket match.
