Mr John hails from Llantrisant and is a leading figure in the legal and business world of the City of London. A former pupil of Cowbridge Grammar School, a Cambridge graduate and a Member of the Law Society, Mr John has held a series of high profile posts in the Capital since the late sixties. He is currently Chairman of Wales in London.

The short-listed candidates will be interviewed in early October and the successful applicant will be charged with implementing the radical organisational and administration changes that need to be undertaken for the future benefit and well-being of Welsh rugby as a whole
